Where Are We??? Where Do We Go From Here?

America…. A place of infinite possibilities.

Or at least it used to be. To some… minority immigrants… Illegal immigrants… it still is.
But what about the regular lunch pail carrying American?

I grew up thinking my own laziness was my only limitation on my potential. We all know it also includes luck, who you know, and how much ass you kiss on the way up.

But it wasn’t the government that figured into the limitation. But now…. now and in the forseeable future, .Gov WILL be the MAJOR factor in determining one’s future.

I’m a child of the Cold War. The big enemy was CCCP… the Soviet Union… The Iron Curtain.
Over 100,000 Americans died in conflicts trying to limit the pervasive spread of Communism. Those lives have been truly wasted as the United States has completely split with its charter that was debated and won by the blood of our ancestors 235 years ago.

My generation has put the final nail in the coffin of the Republic. The Baby Boomers with 3 Presidents to its account, Clinton, Bush2, and the Pretender, and they have seen to it that the American Taxpayer has been hamstrung with continued bloating of the Federal government, their children’s financial future in a yoke of slavery and 3rd World limitations in a country where the sky USED to be the limit…

So, what to do? As a 47 year old white guy, I’m buying land and precious metals.

The short term outlook is pretty bad, however, there are people making money hand over fist and there are places to park your money til there is a more favorable government outlook.

Who?? Where??
In the Bible, it says
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. 2 Tim 1:7 (AMP)
God is our salvation. We MUST carry on our lives as our ACTIONS and the actions of MILLIONS speak with more volume than the puny 537 (incl. Prez and VP) people in DC. Look at what the Tea Party did. They were launched in a campaign to send tea bags to the Prez over taxes and oflammiecare. The meek..the weak, the AVERAGE person rose to the occasion and shook the nation.

The average Joe, when forced to stand, and in the numbers where they can’t be ignored, can rattle the nerves of the elite in every way and that is the secret to our future.

“All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.” – — Edmund Burke

When good men stay silent the encroaching evil of tyranny goes unchecked. This has happened since the 40’s especially, but has accelerated since the Cold War ‘ended’.

We SHOULD carry on with our lives. Invest smartly. Live well. Plan for the worst an hope for the best. Train your kids in the arts of yesteryear. Teach them to fish, hunt, plant veggies. Do NOT abrogate your responsibility to teach and nurture the future of our nation. And in this regard, you must use time wisely and passionately live a good life.

Fear is not the answer. Fear is the enemy of us citizens.

God Bless America…. God Bless our Nation, our Republic and our Citizens.

  1. Well said, posted and I added you to Google reader. Good looking kids. As I remember Brittany and Dixie were close in age, Dixie just turned 15. Why don’t y’all come to the beach as you were supposed to do years ago?!:) I just remembered that the last picture I saw of Brittany was when she was 12 shooting a rifle! She’s certainly changed. I think all daughters should remain about six…….

    • LOL… They DO change don’t they? Sometimes you just gotta embrace the change…as it comes anyway. Britt is still 14, she’ll be 15 in Sept.
Looks like we’ll purchase 12 acres in Hyde, so we’ll definitely be in the neighborhood… Its raw land and it’s going to take alot of work to get it to where I want it as far as a recreational retreat.
Yeah, I don’t do a lot of what I really want to do, things like fishing, boating, enjoying the sights and sounds of what God has blessed us with… too many projects, etc…
